Job Summary
Electrical Engineer- Inspector
Job Description:
Experienced Electrical Engineer Inspector to join our Supervision Team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have 710 years of experience in consultancy firms with proven expertise in supervising residential projects.
Responsibilities:
Inspect and monitor electrical works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings specifications and QCS/international standards.
Assist in reviewing shop drawings material submittals and method statements.
Conduct daily site inspections for electrical installations including power lighting and ELV/low-current systems.
Ensure contractors work is carried out according to project requirements codes and safety standards.
Report site progress issues and non-conformances to the Senior Electrical Engineer and Project Manager.
Participate in site testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
Coordinate with other discipline inspectors and site teams for smooth project execution.
Support in preparing inspection reports site records and technical documentation.
Enforce health safety and environmental standards on site.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 7-10 years of consultancy experience with strong background in residential projects.
- Must be currently based in Qatar.
- Strong knowledge of QCS local authority regulations and international codes.
- Experience in site inspections testing and commissioning.
- Strong attention to detail and reporting skills.
- MMUP/UPDA certification (preferred).
