GENERAL SUMMARY
The position of Senior Project Manager monitors and tracks project progress aged accounts invoicing and budget and is responsible for overall project performance and profitability.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBLILITIES
This position may have supervisory responsibility.

- Must possess a high capacity for self-motivation and be able to apply engineering knowledge to a variety of projects.
- Generate and manage development of design and project drawings.
- Interface/coordinate engineering to develop and execute design concepts.
- Responsible for building maintaining and managing client relationships.
- Has excellent technical knowledge and management skills.
- Plan direct and monitor all aspects of projects.
- Involved with the production and coordination of several projects concurrently.
- Possess strong drive motivation and self-initiative.
- Communicates and coordinates project requirements with the project team and consultants.
- Responsible for the management planning scheduling and performance of multiple engineering projects and personnel.
- Perform technical analysis and documentation.
- Manage preliminary and final design and construction phase services for municipal projects.
- Engage in public outreach marketing and client communication.
- Manage budget and schedule.
- Manage other staff members and sub-consultants.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Working knowledge and understanding of construction documents and building codes.
- Strong leadership skills ability to meet deadlines and provide high quality service to clients.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Highly organized detail-driven and conscientious.
- Proficient in current version of Revit AutoCAD 3D Studio or Form-Z Photoshop MS Word and MS Excel.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelorsor masters degree in engineering.
- 17 years of experience.
- Licensure in Engineering is required.
IMPORTANT Candidate EXPERIENCE for the Charlotte Office:
- Construction Administration (CA) Candidate Ideally has worked through the Architectural ranks from a Designer into the CA role. 10 to15 years of experience with 5 years of Multifamily CA focus.
- PM-Candidate Typically 10 to15 years of experience in Architecture. Preferred 8 years of Multifamily experience with 5 years (minimum) of Multifamily PM Experience.
- PA-Candidate 5 to 10 years of experience with a preferred 3 (minimum) to 7 years of Multifamily focus.
- Job Captain Candidate 3 to 8 years with 2 years of Multifamily focus.
- Designer I II & III Preference given to Multifamily focus.
