Job Summary

Our client is a leading provider of Fire Sprinkler and Fire Alarm Systems with a broad range of services including design and installation of new systems special projects tenant improvements inspection testing maintenance as well as service and repair. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package including company paid medical dental vision and a 401k plan. We are currently seeking a dynamic Estimator to join this high-performing team.

Responsibilities:

Communicate accurately and effectively with customers and internal stakeholders on project scope and estimates.
Prepare detailed cost estimates for emergency repairs and system upgrades including labor materials equipment and timelines.
Source and price specialty sprinkler system components and parts while maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure availability and competitive pricing.
Assess fire sprinkler system deficiencies to determine scope of repair work needed working closely with technicians and project managers to gather accurate field information.
Maintain accurate records of estimates material costs and labor rates in the companys system to support project tracking and future bidding.
Collaborate with operations teams to ensure estimated costs align with actual project execution refining estimating practices based on field feedback.

Qualifications:

4 years of estimation pricing and/or purchasing experience
2 years in the Fire Sprinkler industry
High School Diploma or GED
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (particularly Excel) Google Suite (particularly GSheets) and estimating software
Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
Ability to develop maintain and repeat standardized and multi-step processes
Positive energy that ignites team spirit and collaboration
