Benefits Account Manager Position
Our client a company providing a comprehensive package of employee benefits is currently seeking a capable and dedicated Benefits Account Manager. The role includes a fully employer-paid medical dental and vision coverage package for the employee their spouse and dependents as well as 401k benefits with a match.
As a key member of their team the Benefits Account Manager will be tasked with ensuring the smooth operation of all benefits-related processes and services. This role provides an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic work environment that values work-life balance.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage a book of business ranging from 50 to 400 lives
- Set pre-renewal meetings and facilitate plan reviews
- Consult on potential plan changes
- Handle quotes and estimates carrier negotiations and benefits administration
- Oversee open enrollments and conduct presentations
- Ensure the accuracy of work done by third parties (e.g. HRIS data entry and rates)
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience independently managing Employee Benefits Accounts with an Independent Agency
- Residency in the Seattle area as this is a hybrid role with both in-office and remote work
- Confidence in client-facing situations along with a strong ability in consulting managing renewals and overseeing projects
