Job Summary
Hire Resolves Client is currently looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their mining company based in will be responsible for inspecting maintaining and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment to ensure safe reliable and compliant operation.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect diagnose and repair mechanical faults on vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Perform preventative planned and breakdown maintenance on engines transmissions braking and related systems.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure reliability and compliance with safety standards.
- Complete accurate maintenance records and job documentation using relevant systems.
- Maintain a safe clean working environment and adhere to health and safety requirements.
- Provide standby and breakdown support as required.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Diesel Mechanic Trade Test Certificate
- Qualification in Engineering Studies (N3/N4)
- 3-5 years experience as a Diesel Mechanic withadvanced knowledge of modern vehicle
electrical systems - Experience with MANN truck brand
- Valid Drivers License
Benefits:
- Salary: R250K - R300K P/A
