Job Summary

Finance Domestic Bank is responsible for the financial accounting and statutory/regulatory reporting of all Retail activities in INGs home market with a Balance Sheet of 200 billion euro and responsible for 40% of INGs worldwide Financial Accounting tribe aims at finding the balance between high speed to continuously deliver on all regulatory changes and an efficient and up-to-standard way of working to process vast data sets according to strict IFRS and ECB rules.

In our Financial Accounting tribe you can get involved in assignments that cover every aspect of the Finance world from accounting dilemmas and new ESG requirements to Basel regulation updates and technical challenges in one of our data warehouses. About the team

This team consists of 4 FTE. It is a mixed group in terms of nationalities ages experience and gender where we find it important that everyone can feel part of the team.

Roles and Responsibilities

As WB Reporting squad you will plays a vital role in the timely and accurate preparation of regulatory and sustainability-related data and reporting to internal and external stakeholders for ING Netherlands. The scope of reporting covers:

  • ESG-related information disclosed in ING Groups Annual Report (EU Taxonomy CSRD and separate ESG metrics) as well as in ING Groups Pillar 3 report
  • FINREP
  • Asset Encumbrance
  • Commercial Real Estate
  • Anacredit
  • Liquidity reports
  • SE Statistical Reports and
  • related ad-hoc requests.

An important component of the role relates to ensuring we remain compliant with the increasing and changing (regulatory) requirements and continuously improve on how we do that. The team has to ensure we design/maintain the End-to-End information architecture in an effective and efficient manner and ensure we have the right controls in place to demonstrate that we are in control over the relevant external disclosures.

How to Succeed

Our ideal candidate has a proven track record in statutory or regulatory reporting. You are curious do not hesitate to challenge the status quo have a clear vision on strategic priorities and are able to take decisions and make priority addition you have:

  • the skills to motivate empower and stimulate people.
  • strong analytical skills with an eye for detail
  • strong communication skills (written and oral)
  • a problem-solving mindset
  • strong collaboration skills
  • proven to take initiative and make things happen
  • experience in dealing with important stakeholders like the external accountant
  • affinity and experience with big (IT) change programs and process improvements and you are passionate about innovation
  • a strong customer focus and you enjoy collaborating with people in various roles and squads
  • Prior work experience in a banking environment
  • experience with international accounting standards (IFRS)
  • A Masters degree in accounting finance or a comparable field
