As a Senior Research Fellow you will:

  • Recruit research participants into clinical trials including a determination of potential eligibility.
  • Obtain informed consent for study participants including explaining research projects answering questions and determining eligibility.
  • Conduct medical assessments with clinical trial participants and provide ongoing clinical care to clinical trial participants and address medical issues that may arise during clinical trial participation.
  • Lead the implementation of Clinical Trial Hub activities and effectiveness and influence/champion at local/ university level. Represent the university at academic professional and civic forums as appropriate/required.


To be successful youll have:

  • Completed a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery at an Australian or New Zealand University or successfully passed both parts of the Australian Medical Council exam process.
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a practising doctor in Australia
  • General medical registration with AHPRA.
  • Prior clinical trial experience (highly desirable) and familiarity with relevant clinical trial governance requirements.
