Position Overview
RIZZO International Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level Geologist to support geologic and geotechnical projects under the direction of senior staff and project management. This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging and technically demanding projects in the dams nuclear power and power-related markets both domestically and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with geologic and/or geotechnical field investigations
- Support logging sampling and documentation of subsurface conditions
- Analyze and interpret geologic and laboratory data under supervision
- Prepare draft text figures and tables for technical reports
- Assist in preparation of design drawings and figures
- Support preparation and checking of calculations
- Assist with Field and Office Work Plan preparation
- Travel domestically and internationally as required
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Geoscience Geology Geological Engineering Geophysics or related field
- 03 years of related experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Must be able to travel when necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60000 $80000 per year (commensurate with education and experience)
