Data Entry Specialist
The Data Entry Specialist at Ascendant Insurance Solutions is responsible for accurately entering updating and maintaining policyholder claims and billing information within the insurance companys systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately input client policy claims and billing information into agency management systems and databases.
- Review source documents for accuracy and completeness before data entry.
- Verify and correct data discrepancies as needed.
- Update existing records with endorsements renewals cancellations and other policy changes.
- Maintain electronic and physical files in compliance with company procedures.
- Assist with document scanning indexing and record organization.
- Generate reports and support internal teams with data requests.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and financial information.
- Meet daily and weekly productivity and accuracy targets.
- Support special data cleanup or migration projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree preferred).
- 12 years of data entry clerical or administrative experience.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Proficient typing skills and data entry speed.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook).
- Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining quality.
