Job Summary

Our client a highly regarded independent 1118 school in Wolverhampton is seeking a dedicated and proactive Behaviour Mentor to join their pastoral team as soon as possible. This is a full-time permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to support student wellbeing and behaviour within a high-achieving school community.

The successful Behaviour Mentor will work closely with Heads of Year teachers and the SENCo to support pupils who require additional behavioural or emotional guidance. You will help create a positive learning environment implement behaviour strategies and provide one-to-one or small-group interventions to develop students self-regulation resilience and social skills.

The school is seeking an individual who is empathetic consistent and proactive with a genuine commitment to supporting young people to succeed academically and personally.

Experience and Qualifications

Experience working with children or young people in an educational or mentoring capacity desirable
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to remain calm consistent and professional in challenging situations
A proactive and solution-focused approach
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
