Advanced Instruction: Deliver the A-Level specification (AQA or IB) with a focus on Biopsychology Psychopathology and complex Research Methods.
Super-Curricular Leadership: Lead the schools Psychology & Neuroscience Society overseeing undergraduate-level research projects and entries for the Minds Underground Psychology Essay Competition.
Statistical Mastery: Guide students through the application of inferential statistics (Chi-Squared Mann-Whitney U Wilcoxon) ensuring a high level of mathematical precision in their research reports.
Oxbridge Mentorship: Provide specialist coaching for students applying for Experimental Psychology or PPL (Psychology Philosophy and Linguistics) at Oxford and Cambridge.
Academic Pedigree: A First-Class or Upper Second-Class degree in Psychology or Neuroscience from a Russell Group University. A Masters or PhD is highly advantageous.
Scientific Fluency: A deep understanding of the biological approach including the influence of neurotransmitters brain structure and genetics on behaviour.
Analytical Flair: The ability to teach students how to critically evaluate the validity and reliability of landmark studies (e.g. Loftus and Palmer Milgram Rosenhan) while incorporating modern peer-reviewed research.
