Job Title: CAMA Development Intern

Location: Kenya

Contract: 12 months

Reporting to: Head of programmes

Principal Accountability

This role will contribute to the development of the CAMA network as an Africa-led movement for young womens empowerment.

Specific Accountabilities

  • Data entry of scholarship forms.

  • Distribution of entitlements in collaboration with various committees and CAMFED Staff

  • Organize records files and documents for bursary clients

  • Capture of new clients and CAMA forms

  • Consolidation of Learner Guide Reports

  • Support planning of various CAMA meetings events and activities.

  • Support the engagement of CAMFED Association members and champion network vision mission values and objectives

  • Support the planning and running of various CAMA convenings meetings events and activities.

  • Support raising awareness among members through dissemination of information policies guidelines and any other regulations necessary for the strengthening of the network

  • Liaise with programme teams to collate or disseminate reports data information and other details

  • Prepare update/review reports and any other such documents that illustrate the status or development needs of the CAMFED Association in the County.

  • Generally support the ED-CAMA Development to leverage the CAMFED Association as a movement for young womens empowerment and leadership within the CAMFED Consortium

  • Any other duties assigned by the line manager

Person specification

  • Member of the CAMFED Association

  • Demonstration of understanding and application of CAMA values vision and mission

  • Passion for the development of the network

  • Understanding of CAMFED strategies

  • Ability to engage with CAMA across geographical locations demographics knowledge spectrums

  • Good analytical writing and communication skills

  • Experience with data collection analysis and research
