Job Summary

We are now looking for a motivated Test Engineer (R&D) who is passionate about product quality testing excellence and collaborative engineering.
About the Role
As a Test Engineer in our R&D organization you will be involved in testing Ascom products throughout the development lifecycle. You will create and execute manual and automated tests verify system integrations and ensure that our software and hardware products meet the required specifications and compliance standards.
What You Will Do
Perform integration and verification testing of Ascom products and systems.
Collaborate closely with developers and crossfunctional R&D project members.
Create and execute manual and automated test cases.
Plan execute and document all test activities.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Identify improvement opportunities in the testing process.
Report defects and follow up on fixes.
Track and communicate test progress and results.
What You Bring
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in IT Software Engineering or related field.
35 years of experience in similar testing roles.
Experience in agile development environments.
Experience with Python
Experience with CI/CD Docker Kubernetes and Helm charts
Familiarity with standard software testing processes; ISTQB Foundation is a plus.
Understanding of automated testing tools and scripting.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
