- Accurate documentation and record-keeping skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Valid drivers license
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Technology AAS degree
- Experience in manufacturing engineering or logistics planning
- Forklift operation experience (or willingness to be trained)
- Experience with overhead cranes and pallet jacks
- Background in fabrication or product finishing
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform material handling tasks including loading unloading and moving glass steel and related materials
- Assist in product assembly including glass installation component assembly and oil filling/draining
- Support fabrication activities such as grinding cutting drilling and tapping steel
- Perform product finishing tasks including sanding deburring and glass cleaning
- Handle shipping and receiving activities including documentation verification and crate preparation
Requirements:
- High School Diploma required; Technology AAS degree preferred
- 1 3 years of hands-on mechanical or manufacturing experience
- Ability to use manual and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical labor
- Travel not required as a contractor; 25 30% travel required if converted to full-time employee
