About the Role
Our company is seeking an HR Generalist to support a growing on-site manufacturing operation. This role is hands-on and execution-focused supporting employees managers and leadership across hiring onboarding HR administration compliance and employee support activities.
The HR Generalist will work closely with the HR Manager and serve as a day-to-day point of contact for employees helping ensure policies are followed documentation is accurate and HR processes run smoothly in a fast-paced environment.
What Youll Be Responsible For
Talent & Hiring Support
- Coordinate interviews scheduling and candidate communications
- Manage pre-employment processes including background checks and employment verification
- Prepare and process new-hire documentation and onboarding materials
- Track hiring activity and onboarding progress
HR Operations & Record Management
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records within HR systems
- Process employee changes related to position pay status and leave
- Support compliance requirements related to personnel documentation and record retention
- Assist with internal audits and document reviews
Employee Support & Day-to-Day HR
- Serve as an initial contact for employee questions related to policies benefits and procedures
- Support benefits enrollment life-event changes and general benefits inquiries
- Assist with payroll-related updates and timesheet validation
- Help document employee relations matters and support investigations as directed
- Coordinate offboarding tasks and separation documentation
Office & Workplace Coordination
- Support workspace setup seating arrangements and badge access administration
- Coordinate office needs supplies and basic facilities requests
- Assist with maintaining an organized and professional office environment
Projects Reporting & Engagement
- Assist with internal HR projects communications and engagement initiatives
- Track training completion and performance review cycles
- Prepare basic HR metrics and reports such as headcount and hiring activity

What Were Looking For
Required Experience & Skills
- At least 2 years of experience in a generalist or HR support role
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business or a related field
- Working knowledge of core HR functions including recruiting onboarding benefits and HR systems
- Familiarity with U.S. employment regulations and HR best practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Professional communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
- Proficiency with Microsoft tools particularly Excel and Outlook
Preferred Experience
- Experience with payroll or benefits platforms (e.g. Paychex or similar systems)
- Exposure to HRIS or applicant tracking systems
- HR certification (PHR SHRM-CP)
- Bilingual English/Spanish
Work Environment & Expectations
- On-site role in a professional office setting
- Regular computer and administrative work
- Ability to move throughout the workplace as needed
- Occasional extended hours during high-volume onboarding payroll or audit periods
