Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Flex Pool (Med-Surg / Step-Down)

Shift: 12-Hour Day Shifts (6:45 AM 7:15 PM)
Schedule: Approximately 36 hours per week after orientation (hours not guaranteed)
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Flex Pool supporting multiple medical and surgical units. This role requires strong clinical adaptability as the RN will float between various inpatient units to provide high-quality patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities -
Deliver safe and effective nursing care across multiple medical and surgical units

Float between assigned units based on operational needs

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans
-
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with policies and standards
-
Utilize clinical equipment including wound vacs and chest tubes
-
Accurately document care using the facilitys electronic medical record system
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care
-
Maintain compliance with infection control safety and regulatory requirements
Units Supported (May Vary by Need) Floating assignments and nurse-to-patient ratios may vary due to staffing needs or unexpected leaves.
Equipment & Systems Nurse-to-Patient Ratios (Approximate) Orientation & Training Qualifications & Requirements -
Active State RN License (must be valid by start of assignment)

Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience (flex or acute care experience preferred)

BLS required
-
ACLS required
-
Preferred certifications: PALS TNCC ENPC Procedural Sedation

Ability to float across units and adapt quickly to changing environments
