Shift: 12-Hour Day Shifts (6:45 AM 7:15 PM)
Schedule: Approximately 36 hours per week after orientation (hours not guaranteed)

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Flex Pool supporting multiple medical and surgical units. This role requires strong clinical adaptability as the RN will float between various inpatient units to provide high-quality patient-centered care.

• Deliver safe and effective nursing care across multiple medical and surgical units

• Float between assigned units based on operational needs

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with policies and standards

• Utilize clinical equipment including wound vacs and chest tubes

• Accurately document care using the facilitys electronic medical record system

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care

• Maintain compliance with infection control safety and regulatory requirements

• Medical Unit

• Surgical Acute Unit

• Cardiovascular Unit (occasionally)

Floating assignments and nurse-to-patient ratios may vary due to staffing needs or unexpected leaves.

• EMR: Epic

• Medication dispensing system: Pyxis

• Clinical equipment: Wound vacs chest tubes

• Medical Unit: 1:6 (Days/Evenings)

• Surgical Acute Unit: 1:6

• Cardiovascular Unit: 1:4

• Unit-specific orientation provided for each assigned department

• Active State RN License (must be valid by start of assignment)

• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience (flex or acute care experience preferred)

• BLS required

• ACLS required

• Preferred certifications: PALS TNCC ENPC Procedural Sedation

• Ability to float across units and adapt quickly to changing environments

• Holiday coverage: Required

• Bilingual: Not required

• Dress code: Professional nursing attire (clean scrubs)

• Proof of immunity required; medical or religious exemptions not accepted

• Travelers must arrive prior to assignment start for employee health clearance
