Guaranteed Hours: 30 Hours per Week
We are seeking a motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week contract assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. This role involves working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide rehabilitative services that promote independence and improve patients quality of life.
Key Responsibilities-
Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist

Provide therapy interventions focused on activities of daily living (ADLs) mobility and functional independence

Assist patients in improving strength coordination and cognitive functioning

Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and adaptive techniques
-
Accurately document patient progress and treatment sessions

Communicate effectively with the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team

Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards

Active State COTA license/certification (must be current)

Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred

New graduates or candidates with less than 1 year of experience may be considered

Strong communication and time-management skills

Ability to work collaboratively within a rehabilitation team
