Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation: Learning to set up and operate manual and CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines such as lathes milling machines and drill presses.
Fitting & Assembly: Using hand tools (files scrapers laps) to ensure parts fit together perfectly according to engineering tolerances.
Blueprint Reading: Developing the ability to read and interpret technical 2D and 3D engineering drawings and CAD designs.
Measurement & Inspection: Using precision instruments like micrometers vernier calipers and dial indicators to check work against specifications.
Maintenance: Assisting in the stripping cleaning and reassembling of machinery for routine maintenance or repairs.
Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) protocols and workshop safety standards.
