Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Redmine Developer with 5 8 years of hands-on experience in customizing extending and maintaining Redmine-based project management solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Ruby on Rails plugin development system integrations and performance optimization along with a solid understanding of Agile/Scrum workflows.

• Customize and extend Redmine functionality to meet business and project requirements

• Design develop and maintain Redmine plugins and themes

• Configure workflows roles permissions trackers and custom fields

• Integrate Redmine with third-party tools (e.g. Git Jenkins CI/CD pipelines LDAP REST APIs)

• Perform Redmine upgrades migrations and version compatibility checks

• Optimize performance security and scalability of Redmine installations

• Troubleshoot issues fix bugs and provide production support

• Collaborate with project managers DevOps and development teams to improve project tracking and reporting

• Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer when required

• 5 8 years of experience working with Redmine in enterprise environments

• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails

• Hands-on experience with Redmine plugin development

• Good knowledge of MySQL / PostgreSQL databases

• Experience with Linux/Unix environments

• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows

• Experience integrating Redmine with tools such as GitHub/GitLab Jenkins Jira or CI/CD systems

• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum and project management processes

• Ability to analyze requirements and deliver scalable solutions

• Experience with Docker / Kubernetes for Redmine deployments

• Knowledge of REST APIs and web services

• Experience with authentication mechanisms (LDAP SSO OAuth)

• Basic frontend skills (HTML CSS JavaScript) for UI customizations

• Prior experience migrating from or to tools like Jira

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
