Full Stack Developer Intermediate

MUST HAVES:

• Experience writing applications which will be built and packaged automatically and deployed to servers by release management team using MS Azure DevOps YAML Pipelines is an asset.

Description

Responsibilities

• Design implement and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction transformation and loading activities.
• Required to translate technical systems specifications into working tested applications. This includes developing detailed programming specifications writing and/or generating code compiling data-driven programs maintaining and conducting unit tests.
• Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of software packages including technical assistance in implementation conversion and migrations.
• The resource will also support CSC release and infrastructure solutions support sustainment activities urgent priorities changing needs or time-sensitive infrastructure upgrades or other sustainment activities supporting any CSC platforms overseen by the Cluster where annual work is required.

• Proficient with both front end and back end development including any associated areas such as database design/management and DevOps

• Knowledge and experience ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability
• Knowledge and experience with the design and construction of REST API services
• Knowledge and experience integrating front-end UI with the constructed API
• Knowledge and experience in design and implementation of continuous integration and deployment

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready applications
• Knowledge and experience in rapid application development (RAD) methodologies

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Software Development - 45%

• Experience with troubleshooting and remediation of performance issue in web-based applications and Windows services.
• Experience working with and contributing to reusable software components.
• Experience developing web applications on multiple web browsers/different versions of web browsers.
• Experience analyzing requirements in order to determine functional requirements for reports and other enhancements to the web-based systems.
• Experience developing applications which use a relational database to store and retrieve data.

Technical Skills - 40%

• Experience developing testing and debugging code for enhancements to systems using MS Visual Studio 2017 and 2022
• Experience coding Framework 4.8 or later and C#.

• Experience working with MS Azure DevOps using GIT as version control and YAML pipelines

• Experience with the configuration and administration of operating systems including Microsoft Windows and Linux or other varieties of UNIX.
