Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer- CMM Programmer fluidly translates information from 3D engineering models and Caterpillar blueprints into building CMM checks for purchased finished goods in Supplier Quality. The person will create run off debug and maintain CMM checks to support production receiving inspection APQP/PPAP warranty claims and line failures. The person will work with suppliers to collaborate CMM data in PC DMIS. This position may also cover mobile arm support and assist the team in technical support. This is a fast pace problem solving job that requires solid prioritization and time management skills coupled with strong record keeping skills. This position serves as a resource for Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Operations Quality and the supply base.
Education & Experience Required:
- Years of experience: 4 years (with bachelors)
- Degree requirement: Bachelors with 4 years Associates with equivalent experience accepted
- Do you accept internships as job experience: With documented skills and project involvement that fulfills needed PCDMIS needs.
