About the role Workplace & Events Manager

At Aquablu experiences matter. A lot.

As we scale and prepare to move into our 1600 m² newly designed high-end experience center were looking for a Workplace & Events Manager who takes full ownership of this space and brings it to life.

This is not a classic office role. Our new office will be a true experience center a place where we showcase our product to clients partners and investors host events that strengthen relationships and create moments our employees genuinely enjoy.

You are the owner of that experience. From how the space is set up and maintained to how events are designed and executed you shape how Aquablu feels internally and externally.

What youll be doing

Events & Experience Center

• Take full ownership of our new office experience center as a client- partner- and investor-facing experience space

• Plan and execute high-quality events for clients partners investors and our community.

• Ensure every visit to Aquablu reflects our brand ambition and attention to detail

• Make every event feel intentional premium and unmistakably Aquablu

• Work closely with Sales Leadership and Marketing to support commercial and relationship-driven events

Internal events & culture moments

• Organize internal events team moments celebrations offsites birthdays and work anniversaries

• Create moments that bring energy connection and fun into our fast-paced scale-up

• Support a culture where people feel welcomed motivated and proud of where they work

Workplace & operations

• Full ownership of our office and day-to-day workplace operations

• First point of contact for employees visitors partners clients and investors

• Manage facilities security vendors and suppliers to keep everything running smoothly

• Own lunch snacks tools supplies and the overall office environment

• Play a key role in our upcoming office move from coordination to final setup

• Provide light PA-style support for C-level where needed

People Culture & Growth

• Own the onboarding experience making sure new joiners feel welcomed from day one

• Work closely with People & Culture to continuously improve life at Aquablu

• Jump in where needed and proactively improve how we work as we grow

Who you are

• Youve got 2 years of experience in office management events and/or client facing roles.

• Youre organized proactive and love taking ownership

• You enjoy juggling different responsibilities and switching gears quickly

• You care deeply about people atmosphere and details.

• Youre comfortable in a fast-growing sometimes chaotic scale-up environment

• You speak fluent English (dutch is a very big plus!!)

• You dont need to tick every box what matters most is mindset ownership and learning speed

Full time & on-site at our HQ in Amsterdam

About You

• Experienced: You have at least 1 years of experience in Office Management or a similar organizational role.

• Structured & proactive: You see what needs to be done before it escalates and take action.

• People-oriented and operationally strong: You care about experience and culture and you know how to execute.

• Comfortable in a scale-up environment: Change doesnt stress you you adapt and help others do the same.

• Hands-on: No task is too small if it helps the office run better.

• Language skills: Speaking Dutch is a big plus - ideally you can communicate at B1 level or higher.

• Valid to work in NL without company visa sponsorship.

40-55k gross salary - depending on experience.
