Lead Zuora Engineer

As a Systems Engineer you will be responsible for designing implementing and expanding Zuora subscription billing and payment solutions and will bring a solid understanding of the Zuora Billing application and APIs as well as experience integrating Zuora with other this role you will collaborate with Product managers Zuora internal technical resources and other engineering teams in the R&D organization to design and deliver scalable technical solutions that meet growing business needs.

A day in the life (Responsibilities)

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives related to Zuora Subscription Billing and Zuora Payment Develop and configure Zuoras Product Catalog including rate plans and pricing models to meet business needs and support billing processes
• Ensure the security and integrity of Zuoras environment by implementing best practices and security measures
• Experience with customizing Zuora using Zuora Workflows Zuora API and ZOQL and integrating Zuora with other financial platforms
• Design and implement payment solutions using payment methods like Credit Card Alternate Payment Methods (APMs) ACH Direct Debit etc.
• Understand Payment Gateways Country Specific requirements Refund Chargeback Cancellation and Network Tokenization
• Configure and manage notifications within Zuora to keep partners both internal and external informed of key events and updates
• Customize and design invoice templates in Zuora to align with branding guidelines and meet customer requirements
• Provide guidance on billing processes and best practices using domain knowledge to drive optimal solutions to lead business discussions with customers discover requirement frame a problem statement lead solution workshops and deliver a Technical solution

What youll need to thrive (Requirements)

• Experience with Zuora development including Product Catalog workflows Security Notifications and Invoice Templates
• Experience in translating requirements into technical specifications and solution design
• Experience in requirements gathering use cases documentation business analysis systems design and integration user interface design and implementation
• Experience in data analysis conversion and migration interfaces and reports
• Experience with customizing Zuora using Workflows Zuora API and ZOQL
• Understand the Zuora Business Object model.
• Lead and implemented Zuora Billing for 1 or more companies
• 5 years of experience with Zuora Billing

What will help you stand out (Nonessential Skills/Nice to Haves)

• Zuora Admin and Architect certifications
• Experience with Zuora E-Invoicing features.
• Knowledge of Zuora RevPro
