Summary
Why its a great opportunity:In this position supporting the Countys Maintenance on Operations team you will plan permit inspect and create reports on road bridge facility and airport maintenance. You will also do field inspections of maintenance projects wetland identification and determine types of wetlands. You will work with other Planning and Public Works Divisions such as Development Services to determine the environmental impact of maintenance projects. This position will ensure that our infrastructure maintenance is completed with minimal environmental impact.

Core daily responsibilities:
- Review development plans and monitor projects to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Assist in the enforcement of violations of County ordinances relating to federal state and local guidelines and procedures.
- Coordinate project activities with other section members other County departments other agencies and applicants.
- Participate in technical review meetings
- Coordinate project activities with other section members other County departments other agencies and applicants. Prepare environmental checklists and prepare submit and obtain permits from state and federal agencies.

Minimum Qualifications
- A resume and cover letter are required for this position.
- Additional education or related experience may substitute for the recruiting requirements.
- Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in botany biology environmental studies fisheries soil science wildlife biology or related field AND
- Two years of related work experience.
- A Valid Drivers License is required for this position.
