Job Summary
Overview
Responsibilities
- Perform aerospace engineering in support of flight control system development; aircraft modeling and simulation; analysis of aircraft flight dynamics; and ground and flight test support.
- Support the design development integration and test of aircraft flight control systems and autopilots.
- Develop integrate and validate models of aircraft flight dynamics and subsystems such as payloads engines transmissions flight control components and sensors.
- Support lab ground and flight qualification testing of aircraft avionics sensors and flight control systems.
Qualifications
- Must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance after hiring.
U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
- Bachelor of Sciencedegree in Aerospace Engineering.
- 1-2 years professional experience related to Aerospace Engineering.
- Experience with MATLAB and MATLAB scripting.
- Excellent documentation and report writing skills.
- Knowledge of sound engineering practices that may include such areas as requirement tracking configuration control technical communication and/or the peer review process.
