Teacher Christian Studies and Second Stream
An Opportunity
Luther College seeks to appoint the services of an engaging and enthusiastic classroom Teacher of Christian Studies to join our talented learning team commencing in Term 2 of 2026. This is initially a fixed term full-time teaching position for term two however there is strong possibility of becoming ongoing. The successful applicant will have a second teaching stream but this can be flexible spanning across Science Maths Humanities or Health and Physical Education.
The successful candidate will have a high level of understanding and experience of restorative practices and psychology of positive education that enhance student engagement in alignment with pedagogical and wellbeing practices.
About You
You are a teacher who is always learning and improving your practice passionate about supporting students to become independent in their learning. A teacher who is committed to the holistic development of students in partnership with parents. A strong communicator with great interpersonal skills you are aware of your impact on all community members and intuitively adjust your style to meet the needs of our students and families.
This role could be a great opportunity for either an experienced teacher looking to step away from ongoing work or an early career teacher looking to gain experience and potentially move to an ongoing position within a values based and supportive school environment.
