Job description:
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patients needs and goals
- Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients motor skills coordination and functional abilities
- Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices
- Monitor and document patients progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
Requirements:
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in CT
- Knowledge of occupational health physiology and anatomy
- Experience working with Geriatric patients is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medical imaging techniques
- Ability to drive to multiple patients home
- CPR/BLS Certifications
