DescriptionThe Global Conferences intern plays a key role in supporting the work of the Global Conferences team which serves approximately 450000 youth and young single adults worldwide each year.
This internship is part of the Priesthood and Family Department and is a fulltime oneyear position beginning March 2026. It requires onsite work at the Church Office Building in Salt Lake City Utah. Limited hybrid work options may be available depending on arrangements made with hiring staff at the time of hire. Interns may also have opportunities to observe local conferences held in the Salt Lake City and Provo areas.
ResponsibilitiesThe Global Conferences: Training Full-Time Intern is an integral part of the Global Conferences team in the Priesthood and Family Department. The primary focus of this internship is on supporting global leaders with access to the training resources they need to implement conferences. Under the direction of the Training Initiative Specialist the intern will support the following efforts:
- Conducting global needs analysis through data collection and reporting
- Consulting with stakeholders to identify training solutions that address performance gaps across conference leadership roles
- Collaborating with subject matter experts to design and develop training resources
- Ensuring training solutions align with Church policy and meet industry standards and best practices
- Implementing training solutions and support through strategic planning
- Evaluating training solutions and products to inform continuous improvement

QualificationsInterns must be enrolled as a full-time student or have graduated within one year of beginning their internship. Interns must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter. Other qualifications include:
- Currently pursuing or recently earned a degree relevant to the internships responsibilities
- Strong understanding of Church doctrine history organization and policy
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to give careful attention to detail sustain concentration for long periods of time and maintain a high level of accuracy
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to represent the department professionally
- Preferred: coursework or experience in instructional design and learning management systems (LMS) learning and development and training support for a global audience
- Preferred: proficiency in an additional language
