Employment Type: Contractor Onsite
Pay Rate: USD $20.00 / hr
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Summary
Storeroom Attendant is an individual contributor positioned within a customers location to fulfill daily receiving stocking issuing and cycle counting of customer and/or Vallen inventory. Responsible for maintaining a professional clean and organized work environment.

Additional Details:
Flexible coverage may be required between 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM with notice
Temp-to-hire (pay increase upon conversion to FTE)
Must be reliable and able to work independently
Role requires standing and moving throughout the facility
Strong attention to detail familiarity with warehousing and inventory management
Experience loading vending machines and/or forklift experience preferred (not required)
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Reliable transportation required (may support a second location 2-3 times/year): 4200 Ruffin Rd. San Diego CA 92123

Responsibilities
Unload receive and put away incoming product goods tools and/or equipment; unpack bales crates and other containers; check for damage and discrepancies between goods and invoices
Accurately sort label move and store items; place materials/items on racks shelves or bins according to predetermined sequence (size style product codes); optimize storage space
Issue product goods tools and/or equipment to site employees; document and maintain accurate records for issued and returned items
Enter data into database or computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records; retrieve information to respond to inquiries (inventory levels delivery schedules); document discrepancies and seek management guidance
Request requisitions to replenish inventory
Assist with inventory level maintenance; perform cycle counts and prepare reports
Inspect and measure tools/equipment for defects wear and tear; report damage or wear to supervisors
Prepare periodic inventory or maintain perpetual inventory of supplies and equipment
Deliver tools or equipment to associate work locations
Investigate and locate lost or misplaced equipment or safety supplies
Repair service and lubricate tools and equipment as required
Perform other related duties as requested

Requirements / Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
3 months relevant experience and/or training
Experience loading unloading picking packing or moving goods in a warehouse
Ability to read and interpret safety rules work orders operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
Basic computer knowledge and/or aptitude to learn; preferred technical skills include MS Office Vista Control SX.e Prophet 21
Basic math skills (add subtract multiply divide compute rate ratio percent)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a team environment and be self-motivated
Attention to detail and safety-minded
