Schedule: Monday-Friday 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20.26/hour

Job Summary:

The Technician B is responsible for testing troubleshooting repairing and maintaining electrical and electronic components in a warehouse environment. This role requires strong technical aptitude the ability to analyze issues down to the component level and strict adherence to quality safety and ESD standards. The technician will work both independently and collaboratively to ensure timely and accurate completion of repair orders and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct testing troubleshooting and repair of electronic and electrical components
• Diagnose issues at the component level using analytical and problem-solving skills
• Read and interpret electronic schematic diagrams
• Utilize test equipment including oscilloscopes signal generators and voltmeters
• Perform soldering and de-soldering of components (surface mount and through-hole)
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy while completing repair orders and assigned projects
• Ensure compliance with quality performance standards and repair procedures
• Handle hard drive devices while following ESD policies and safety guidelines
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
• Follow warehouse safety regulations at all times
• Accurately enter repair data and completed unit information into computer systems
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on warehouse operational needs

Required Skills and Experience:

• Ability to pass a technical aptitude test (when applicable)
• Strong understanding of electronic circuit theory and componentry
• Proficiency with electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes signal generators voltmeters)
• Skilled in soldering and de-soldering techniques including surface mount and through-hole
• Ability to troubleshoot and analyze electronic failures down to the component level
• Familiarity with ESD handling procedures especially for hard drive devices
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in basic computer skills for accurate data entry

Education Requirements:

• Minimum of a 2-year Electronics degree equivalent electronics certification or equivalent relevant work experience
