Job Summary
Job Title: Budget Analyst (Active DoD Secret Clearance Required)
Location: Huntsville AL
Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
Clearance: Active DoD Secret (required at hire)
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Budget Analyst to support Army and DoD programs through hands-on financial and budgetary analysis. This role requires strong expertise in Army financial systems and the ability to analyze manage and present complex budget data in a fast-paced government environment.
Key Responsibilities

Perform budget and financial analysis in support of Army programs

Develop track and present budget execution data to stakeholders

Utilize GFEBS and Army LMP to manage and report financial information

Support budget planning forecasting and execution activities
-
Prepare briefings dashboards and reports on financial status and trends

Identify financial risks issues and improvement opportunities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial support
Required Qualifications

Active DoD Secret clearance
-
U.S. citizenship
-
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution

10 years of relevant budget or financial analysis experience

Masters degree may substitute for one year of experience

High proficiency in GFEBS and Army LMP
-
Strong analytical presentation and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Power BI Power Query or data visualization tools
