It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Secondary School Education
- Certified Food Handler
- Previous Barista experience
A Grab & Go Server at the HiltonMississauga Meadowvale provides a memorable experience for our guests by offering food and beverage services while maximizing sales and guest satisfaction. The Grab & Go is located in the hotel lobby and provides specialty beverages and food products for those on the this role you will report to the Food and Beverage Services Manager.
What will I be doing
Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Ensuring a sound knowledge of all menu items available from the Grab & Go.
- Taking and inputting guest orders into the appropriate point of sale system.
- Preparing drink items as requested by the guest mainly including but not limited to coffee tea hot chocolate and specialty coffees.
- Warming food as requested by the guest e.g. pre made breakfast and lunch sandwiches.
- Serving items to guests providing appropriate condiments and accompaniments.
- Ensuring payment is received for all items served to the guest.
- Answering any guest enquiry wishing to have items from the Grab & Go delivered to their room.
- Prepare and deliver such items to the guest room in the appropriate packaging.
- Ensure all items in the Grab & Go are well-stocked at all times ensuring that all products are still within their expiration date.
- Respond to guest requests in a friendly timely and efficient manner.
- Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.
- Maintaining cleanliness in the Grab & Go area.
