Job Description Summary

Partnering closely with the CMS & Engine Modernization Finance Leader this individual will be responsible for supporting CMS ERP and its related processes including our Engine Modernization efforts. This involves leveraging existing knowledge to analyze and transform technical solutions into our current ERP application in order to deliver a accurate financial reporting. They will also be responsible for collaborating across departments to support the execution of the Engine Modernization charter and improving the execution structure and experience for the end users.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing the monthly close process related to CMS and other related processes
  • Assisting in the coordination of our physical inventory and required system corrections
  • Collaborating with our Engine Modernization operations team to ensure new costing system is designed for success.
  • Function as a subject matter expert for CMS
  • Partnering with the DT organization to develop solutions to support the manufacturing user community
  • Collaborate with Controllership and Government Accounting to ensure new processes/solutions are compliant within GE and with government agencies.
  • Support testing sessions to ensure solutions to meet short-term objectives and long-term goals
  • Assist with financial audits and providing required documentation to ensure GE Aerospace remains compliant
  • Contribute to updates or update GE policies that will be impacted by the process changes as part of the Engines Modernization solutions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
  • 5 years of experience in Finance or Controllership
  • Strong performance with demonstrated team skills
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional and global team environment
