Provide leadership to the SCH Childrens clinical facility operations and for the long-range facility planning and construction projects. This position is responsible for the overall facilities building and engineering operations sustainability and maintenance of the hospital regional facilities and real estate locations. This role analyzes costs activities operations and forecasts data to determine departmental or divisional progress toward stated goals for SCH. The VP Facilities and Capital Projects will lead the development and construction of a new hospital campus and multiple large capital expansion projects.
Required Education and Experience
Advanced Degree in business construction or scientific study.
15 years relevant facility management and administration with a strong preference for facilities experience in a healthcare and/or life sciences business including laboratory and research units.
Demonstrated strong functional expertise in facilities management or real estate clinical office and lab design project management operations employee services contracting and purchasing.
Demonstrated competency for facilities planning to companys core business strategy with plans best practices and metrics for effective execution.
Certifications
Must hold (or obtain within one year) credentials such as CHFM CHSP HEM Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA).
Preferred
Experience leading mega-construction projects (1B)
Licensed in Architecture Real Estate or Engineering
Management-level experience with independent construction or design contractors.
Proficiency in Continuous Improvement methodologies (LEAN ISO 9001 ISO 55000)
Compensation Range
$315000 and $425000 with a target annual incentive of 20%
Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity skills experience and expertise and may vary within the range provided.
