Job Description:
Summary & Purpose of the Position
To
- Provide high quality OPEX management in the area of budgeting forecasting and reporting
- Serve as a support for a chief accountant in interactions with FSSC (tax and statutory purpose)
Main Responsibilities & Technical Competencies
- 50% of the role is associated with cooperation and verification of data managed by FSSC in Wrexham; it includes: specific checks required for local tax/statutory purposes local accounting system management (Ariba SAP);
- 50% of the role will be allocated to OPEX controlling including: forecasting budgeting and reporting; being a SPOC for budget holders in relation to cost control area; providing detailed variance analysis on cost spend to management (including travels fuel consumption) and highlighting any risks associated with potential overspend; cooperation with cluster finance team in relation to developing new reporting tools
Due to the mixed nature of the position (50% accounting/statutory/tax 50% controlling) mix of competencies will be required; The candidate should have following skills: very good knowledge of SAP Finance Modules; good knowledge of MS Office tools excel specifically; despite importance of the tax/statutory part of the role (essential for companys tax security) the person also needs to present drive towards controlling tasks which should be a future development area for the person
Knowledge & Experience
Knowledge & Experience (essential):
- 2-3 years experience in the accounting role in the international company must have
- Proven knowledge of SAP (module FI/CO) must have
- Fluency in MS Office tools (Excel) must have
- Analytical skills with focus on details and work organization
Knowledge & Experience (preferred):
- Controlling role in the international company
Education / Certifications (essential):
- BA preferably in Finance/Accounting
Language(s) (essential):
- English and Polish fluent level
Candidate should be based in or near Warsaw to be present in the office 3 days per week.
