Computacenter is Europes leading independent provider of IT infrastructure services enabling users and their Engineer is responsible for designing implementing and maintaining cloud-based systems and infrastructure. This role ensures that cloud environments are secure scalable cost-efficient and highly available enabling organizations to leverage cloud technologies effectively. Cloud Engineers collaborate with development operations and security teams to deliver optimal cloud solutions.

What youll do

• Design & Deploy Cloud Solutions: Architect and implement cloud-based systems using platforms like AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
• Infrastructure Automation: Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g. Terraform CloudFormation) to automate provisioning and management.
• Cloud Security: Implement and maintain security measures including identity and access management encryption and compliance controls.
• Migration: Plan and execute migration of on-premises applications and data to cloud environments.
• Performance Optimization: Configure auto-scaling load balancing and monitor resource usage for cost efficiency.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain continuous integration and delivery pipelines for cloud deployments.
• Disaster Recovery: Establish backup and recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve cloud infrastructure issues providing support to development teams.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of cloud architecture configurations and processes.

What youll need

• Total Experience should be more than 10 years
• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
• Expertise in AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python Bash PowerShell).
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of networking security principles and cloud monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Relevant certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect Azure Administrator etc.) preferred.
