Job Summary

HammondCare Caulfield is currently looking for a Casual Kitchen Hand to join our team.

HammondCare has a unique cottage-style model of care which places the residents needs and requirements as our number one priority. You will be part of the Service Supports Team supporting our model of care by delivering high quality nutrition and standards within theKitchen freshto our residents in accordance with the Aged Care Standards Dietary and HammondCares mission in action statement.

To be successful in this role you will:

Experience in preparing and cooking within an Aged Care environment would be advantageous
Understand safe food handling principles & how to create a safe working environment
Be flexible and commit to a Thursday and Sundayroster pattern
Demonstrate a genuine passion for the work you do
Follow all cleaning guidelines & schedules for all equipment & working surfaces
Demonstrated understanding of safe manual handling and standard precautions
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
