Concordia University Chicago (CUC) invites applications for the Registrar Record and Support Coordinator. This position reports directly to the University Registrar and is located in River Forest IL. The Registrar Record and Support Coordinator oversees correspondence and communication supports graduation and commencement initiatives and provides office support for the Office of the Registrar at Concordia University Chicago. This person serves as the primary and initial contact for the Office of the Registrars department inbox phone number and physical office as well as manages student record requests (e.g. transcripts diplomas certificates etc.) office supplies and more.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Candidates must support and be committed to the mission and identity of Concordia University Chicago a university of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS).
- Manage the department mailbox(s)
- Answer incoming calls to the department phone number
- Process student record requests e.g. degree and enrollment verifications degree verifications transcript requests change of personal information forms etc.
- Receive and route incoming postal mail
- Assist guests by providing services and/or direction to others within the Office of the Registrar and/or other university personnel as appropriate
- Assist with graduation-related functions and commencement ceremony
- Maintain diploma database and order diplomas
- Maintain office supply inventory and place orders as needed
- Assist with compliance efforts as needed

- Familiarity with the Ellucian Banner Student modules.
- Familiarity with Evisions/Argos.
- Familiarity with the National Student Clearinghouse.
- Familiarity with Jostens.
- Familiarity with Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
