Join IMEG as a Senior Electrical Engineer in New York NY where youll lead the delivery of large complex building projects as both project manager and lead engineer. Principal Responsibilities
Lead design efforts and analysis of electrical systems using engineering software and tools to create detailed designs specifications and calculations in accordance with code requirements and IMEG standards
Perform site assessments and generate detailed technical reports
Build and maintain client relationships through effective communication and understanding of project requirements
Conduct in-process design reviews and implement IMEG quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry and client standards
Train mentor and motivate engineering staff
Provide technical assistance for field issue resolution with minimal support
Stay current with industry trends emerging technologies and best practices; lead research and innovation efforts
Prioritize safety and identify potential risks in all engineering work
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project solutions
Lead project interviews and presentations
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required
Professional Engineer (PE) License required
10 years of experience minimum required 12 preferred in the building design
consulting industry
Adept in the technical aspects of ones discipline; advanced proficiency in technical and analytical skills including proficiency of principles of circuit theory electromagnetism power systems and electronics as they relate to electrical systems
Knowledge of Illumination Engineering Society (IES) Standards and reference material resources such as NFPA Link TechStreet MadCAD and Facility Guideline Institution (FGI)
Advanced proficiency of Master Specification editing and software such as eSPECS;
Proficient with Adobe or Bluebeam Revu
Ability to mentor train motivate and lead others
Ability to perform final quality control check in their area of expertise
Ability to sell work and develop client relationships
Strong training and mentoring skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Proficient with MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word Excel and Outlook
Ability to travel with occasional overnight stays

Salary Range $143000-$211000. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant.
