The tribe defines the data centre design from physical through to the virtualization layer (incl. compute storage and network) and ensures identical implementation in the global target Data Centres.
It manages the target data centres as well as the global network. It deals with external suppliers/partners and is responsible for the end-to-end connectivity between ING users and cloud services (internally or externally hosted).
It delivers (inter)national connectivity and hosting for ING in a secure way and protects against outside threats to facilitate the ING journey to the ING private cloud and future public cloud.
The Global Tribe Data Centres and Networks is looking for an experienced Product Manager (PM). You will be working in the Area Global Data Centres.
As a Product Manager of the DC Operations 1 squad you are responsible for the critical facility ING Global Data Centre; e.g. mechanical and electrical infrastructures.
As PM you have strong team leadership abilities to guide the squads to delivering value adding services. You are end-to-end responsible for keeping our Global Data Centres up to ING and industry standards. Other: supporting other entities setting up priorities and a long term plan (together with the Area Lead Data Centres and lead engineer) working in an Agile Scrum way empowering your team members and stakeholder management.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
Product Manager (PM) is a role that:
Is responsible for the what in a squad hence ensures that functional and non-functional requirements are met.
Sets priorities in the product backlog by defining the roadmap in quarterly business reviews by aligning with other product Managers and stakeholders.
Rigorously drives scrum rituals (daily stand-ups sprint planning sprint review retrospective).
Manages dependencies and impediments of the delivery and mitigating risks.
Monitors the quality and performance of your squad and create insights and report on progress impediments and mitigation actions.
Reports the Area Lead data centres to ensure synergy with the tribes goals and compliance to risk controls RMMs and other regulatory requirements.

Professional and intellectual ability at bachelors degree.
Extensive experience in both engineering and leadership roles in Agile teams e.g. as Scrum Master Product Manager DevOps Engineer.
Track record of leading high performance Agile teams.
You have excellent skills in English and Dutch both written and verbal.
