Job Summary
Sr Advanced Project Engineer - MFW
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and youll work out of our Phoenix AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role you will impact the companys ability to deliver high-quality innovative and technologically advanced engineering solutions. Your leadership project management skills and commitment to excellence will contribute to the companys success reputation and growth in the industry.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the design and integration of jet engines for Military Fixed-Wing applications ensuring compliance with specifications and requirements.
- Oversee engine-related systems integration design and support for military fixed-wing applications (CCA F124 TFE1042).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope objectives and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets driving operational excellence.
- Demonstrate leadership capability with a diverse cross-functional international team.
- Effectively escalate issues with leadership and cross-functionally across the organization.
- Maintain a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Foster a bias toward creative thinking and innovation in product design and everyday work approaches.
- Implement design-to-cost and variation-reduction strategies.
- Promote and build a strong team culture and working relationships.
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 or more years of US Military Service or Aerospace experience.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science technology engineering or mathematics.
WE VALUE
- Masters Degree in Engineering or Business (MBA) is desired.
- Aerospace or Systems Engineering Degree is preferred.
- Experience with DOORS NG.
- Familiarity with DOORS CAMEO SysML and/or other RBE/MBE programs.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and manage workload.
- Prior systems engineering experience either through direct industry experience or education/training.
- Ability to execute complex projects in an organized and efficient manner.
- Capability to facilitate interpersonal relationships and resolve conflicts tactfully and effectively.
- Focus on results and effective execution of projects.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
