Job Summary
- Greeting customers in a friendly manner and taking food and drink orders.
- Preparing and serving beverages ranging from simple to elaborate ones.
- Preparing and serving food items such as soups sandwiches and pastries.
- Answering customers questions about menu choices.
- Promoting and recommending menu options to customers.
- Taking payment from customers.
- Maintaining inventory and equipment by cleaning troubleshooting and scheduling repairs.
- Keeping the work environment sanitary and organized.
- Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service.
- Working to attract new customers and expanding the menu.
- Provide unique coffee forward experience for every customer.
- Serve as coffee expert providing exceptional knowledge of food and beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods (roasting process flavor etc.)
- Demonstrate impeccable composure and ability to thrive in ambiguous situations. Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events.
- Provides quality beverages whole bean and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
- Follows health safety and sanitation guidelines and standards.
- Contributes to positive team environment.
