JobResponsibilities
- Develop content for strategic meetings with clientsregardingM&A transactions;
- Interact with senior team members and client management teamson a daily basisto execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives;
- Build and usecomplex financial models completing valuation and analytical exercisesincluding DCF tradingcomparables transactioncomparablesLBOand DDManalyses:
- Develop highly bespoke and sophisticated M&A sale strategy processes;
- Work closely with clients JPM industry and sector partnersto develop comprehensive transaction materials including the preparation of business plans performance analyses due diligencereportsand marketing materials;and
- Keep abreast of key market developments andestablishingknowledge of the target client base and relevant market dynamics.
Required qualificationscapabilitiesand skills
- Minimum 1 year work experience in investment banking ideallyin M&A;
- Universitydegree inFinanceAccounting Economics or related field;
- Strong accounting finance quantitative and business writing skills;
- Understanding of the transaction cycle andprocesssteps;
- Impeccable communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with senior professionalsclientsand key stakeholders in other line of business;
- Self-directed highly motivated and able to work independently;
- Desire and/or experience in working in infrastructure-related sectors on M&A transactions
- European language (in addition to English) is desired but not mandatory
This role encompasses the performance of regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness proprietyknowledgeand competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (whereappropriate)approval by the relevant regulatory authorities to carry out such activities.
