The Role

This is a role for a subject expert who enjoys the technical beauty of higher-level Mathematics.

  • Advanced Instruction: Deliver a rigorous curriculum across KS4 and KS5 including Further Mathematics (Pure Mechanics and Statistics).

  • Oxbridge & Ivy League Coaching: Provide high-level mentorship for students sitting the MAT (Mathematics Admissions Test) TMUA and STEP papers for entry into Oxford Cambridge and Warwick.

  • Olympiad Leadership: Oversee the schools participation in the UKMT Senior Maths Challenge and the British Mathematical Olympiad fostering a culture of elite competitive problem-solving.

  • University-Style Seminars: Lead super-curricular sessions that delve into Undergraduate-level concepts such as Complex Numbers Number Theory and Linear Algebra.

The Candidate

  • Academic Pedigree: A First-Class or Upper Second-Class degree in Mathematics Physics or Engineering from a Russell Group University (e.g. Oxbridge Imperial Warwick UCL).

  • Technical Mastery: A profound understanding of the A-Level and Further Maths specifications with the ability to solve complex unseen problems with precision.
