We are seeking an AVDCloud Engineer with astrong background in designing implementing and managing Azure Virtual Desktop solutions alongside broader cloud engineering expertise
Responsibilities:
- Design deploy and manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments to support organizational needs;
- Optimize the AVD infrastructure for performance scalability and security;
- Provide end-to-end support for cloud infrastructure including troubleshooting and issue resolution;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline AVD operations using tools like PowerShell or Azure CLI;
- Monitor and manage cloud resources ensuring cost efficiency and high availability;
- Implement best practices for security backup and disaster recovery of AVD environments;
- Create and maintain documentation for architecture processes and policies.
Requirements and Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field;
- 3 years of experience in Azure cloud development and management;
- Expertise in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployment and management;
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g. PowerShell Azure CLI);
- Strong understanding of networking virtualization and identity management within Azure;
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment;
- Azure certifications (e.g. Azure Solutions Architect Azure Administrator or Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty) are a plus.
