What you will be doing:

Reports directly to the Senior Manager of Software Development.
Responsible for the installation configuration troubleshooting and integrity monitoring.
Perform essential troubleshooting bug-fixing and participates in a mandatory 24/7 on-call rotation.
Manage the installation configuration and upgrade of required third-party and open-source solutions.
Develop and maintain documentation for Platform Engineer processes focusing on automation.
Work closely with architecture and development teams and executes bi-weekly off-hour maintenance activities.

What our client is looking for:

Minimum 5 years experience in development release processes and server/software configuration/management.
Hands-on experience with AWS or an equivalent public cloud platform.
Proficiency in Python database applications (MS SQL MySQL) and Web Services (REST SOAP).
Skilled in version control (Subversion Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins Artifactory Azure DevOps AWS Code tools BitBucket or GitLab).
Familiarity with IaC principles specifically using Terraform.
Passion for continuous learning and leveraging AI tools for innovation and efficiency.
