We are looking for a Credit Analyst Retail Underwriting (Spain Market)to join us at this pivotal moment share our vision and help shape the future of European banking.What you will be doing
Join our international team in Poland to help shape the future of digital banking across Europe.
While location of work is based in Poland you will be responsible for manual underwriting and risk assessment for our Spanish retail portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Credit Assessment: Manually review and assess creditworthiness for unsecured retail products (cash loans credit cards) for the Spanish market.
Decision Making: Approve or decline applications based on risk appetite providing clear documentation for each rationale.
Risk & Quality Control: Monitor portfolio performance identify early warning signs and ensure compliance with Spanish regulatory standards.
Process Optimization: Use SQL (BigQuery) to analyze data trends and suggest improvements to underwriting policies and workflows.
Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Risk Compliance and Sales teams to streamline the underwriting process.
Skills you should have
25 years in retail credit underwriting specifically within unsecured lending.
Proficiency in evaluating financial data credit bureau reports and fraud indicators.
Understanding of retail lending regulations and compliance standards (knowledge of Spanish market regulations is a plus).
Basic SQL (BigQuery) skills for data querying and reporting.
Fluent English and Polish (written and verbal); Spanish language skills are a significant advantage.
Degree in Finance Economics Statistics or a related quantitative field.
Decisive detail-oriented and comfortable in a high-volume fast-paced environment.
