Job Responsibilities
The administrative coordinator position provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Academic Affairs leadership team. This role requires exceptional organizational skills sound judgment discretion and the ability to manage complex administrative functions in a fast-paced confidential and collaborative academic environment. The successful candidate will serve as a key point of coordination across departments and divisions supporting executive operations special projects purchasing event coordination and customer service for students faculty staff and the community.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Manage calendars travel meetings and confidential correspondence for the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
- Provide administrative support to assistant vice presidents deans and the Academic Affairs administrative team.
- Serve as a point of contact for students parents and community inquiries including academic appeals and complaints.
- Coordinate division-wide meetings special projects academic competitions and special population initiatives.
- Support purchasing and procurement activities in compliance with college policies.
- Provide administrative support to library staff such as contract preparation.
- Coordinate major academic events and maintain the annual Academic Calendar.
- Access and manage student records and data with accuracy and confidentiality.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
This position requires a high school diploma and relevant experience in business management public administration and administrative services or a bachelors degree may be substituted for the required work experience.

- Self-directed with demonstrated initiative leadership cooperation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures with accuracy and consistency.
- Ability to train and support other employees.
- Strong customer service interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to function effectively in an environment characterized by continual changes in technology.
