JOB SUMMARY:
Under administrative guidelines this position provides strategic executive-level direction for all technology initiatives at the college. This position is responsible for aligning technology services with institutional priorities ensuring robust cybersecurity and compliance managing infrastructure and operations and fostering innovation in academic and administrative technologies. The AVP of Technology serves as a key advisor to senior leadership andrepresentsthe college in state and national technology forums.

QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position classifies the physical exertion requirements as light work involving lifting not more than 20 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 though the weight lifted may bevery little a job is in this category when it involves sitting most of the time with some pushing and pulling of arm or leg controls.
