Located within Sydney Line Maintenance Operations your new position as Aircraft Worker will see you carrying out various duties on Qantas and customer aircraft aircraft components equipment and facilities including but not limited to towing aircraft wing walking picking up parts cleaning of aircraft components equipment and facilities fuelling equipment and supporting our Qantas Engineers.
Youll have
- Experience in aircraft support/aviation is preferred
- Good technical background and knowledge of aircraft tooling and equipment
- Ability to work on a 24x7 rotating shift roster
- The ability to obtain an Airside Drivers licence preferably a Cat 4
- Australian Drivers Licence
- Ability to perform highrisk work including working at heights
- Experience with towing an aircraft and wing walking is desirable
- Passion for work and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels
- Proven success working autonomously and within a team environment
- A commitment to safety and quality
- This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to perform manual handling tasks
